So it’s been reported here that Quincy Jones is looking to re-hash one of the classics from the legendary Michael Jackson’s career, we’ve already seen a bunch of people butcher ‘We Are The World’ and now it seems they’re going to do exactly the same with another Michael classic and the first collaboration I heard of was none other than the annoying T-Pain and Robin Thicke (whose latest album is cack, yeah I said it) taking to the microphone on ‘P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)’. You just know that T-Pain will bring that awful Auto-Tune with him and destroy the song completely. You also know there’s going to probably be a million and one other silly names on the project who are big commercially in music, but offer nothing to the industry as a whole regarding talent and would never come close to what Michael is within music, a legend.I do not know what Quincy is on, but he’s obviously on something if he thinks he can pull this off. No one can come anywhere near the original versions of what he has in mind, no one can touch the amazing Michael Jackson and Quincy should know that, especially as he’s worked with him and knew Michael for such a long time, right now he’s just disrespecting Michael’s memory and the many fans that Michael has in the world. News of this project has created a bit of a stink on Twitter and quite rightly so, with the recent butchering of ‘We Are The World’, it now looks like some of peoples favourite songs of Michael’s will be going down in history too, but for all of the wrong reasons.I’m sick and tired of seeing all of these people and corporations who ‘supposedly’ knew and worked with Michael cashing in at his expense, claiming it’s somehow what he would have wanted. The fact is, no one knows what Michael would have wanted on this subject, but we know he would never disrespect his fans and just pray that his legacy lives on within his music, which it does. Quincy and all of those who are somehow involved in this project need to know that it’s not necessary to create dozens of remakes of classics within Michael’s discography, he is respected far too much. No one will ever come close to the original version. With all of that said; I will be sticking two fingers up to these remakes and blasting the originals loud and proud. Quincy can stick this idea; he’s off his trolley for even thinking it and showing disrespect to Michael’s memory. You can enjoy the original of the song that is being said will be covered on this ridiculous project below.

He was one of the world's most famous performers, and being in the limelight had quite an effect on Michael Jackson as his bodyguards explained on U.S. TV today. The three men - Mike Garcia, Bill Whitfield and Javon "BJ" Beard - revealed that the late star's life was full of "stress, paranoia and pain." They also said the star had two girlfriends during the time they worked for him and insisted he was NOT a child abuser.Appearing on ABC's Good Morning America the security team, referred to as The Inner Circle, were asked if they believed Jackson was a paedophile, to which all three emphatically replied 'No.'. Bill Whitfield said: 'Being a man, men know men, and we [were] around him long enough to know he was a man.'
While Mike Garcia added: 'He had desires of women like we do. He had lovers.
'In the cars that we had, we had a curtain that covered the back seat. You couldn't see in the back seat. They talked back there, they didn't do nothing out of bounds.
'You can hear the kissing.'The men said the pop superstar had at least two girlfriends during the two year period they were employed to look after him, and they chaperoned Jackson and his lovers like a pair of teenagers. The threesome also said that Michael Jackson was an "awesome" father, who did all he could to shield his three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket from the media glare. Jackson gave them the task of protecting his children from seeing images of their father on magazine covers. Whitfield said: 'I'll be ahead of him, because I know he's coming this way, and I'm looking at magazine racks that may have something about him on them and I'll turn it around. 'Sometimes he's seen them, and you would actually see him take it and turn them around so the kids didn't see them.' Garcia added: 'The kids were constantly saying, "I love you, Daddy." They were like four buddies
And Whitfield said the children were very "polite" and "well mannered."But they recounted "sad" moments too - such as the time Jackson held a birthday party for one of his children, and only Jackson, the teacher, the nanny and the three bodyguards were there with no other children present. In the two-part interview, the men also claimed that he took out his financial frustrations on them. 'We were asked to leave hotels because the credit card on file was denied,' Bill Whitfield said.
'The bill wasn't paid,' added Garcia. And they said Jacko - who died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50 following a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs and propofol - would often fly into fits of rage. 'He got so frustrated he threw my cell phone out the window, through the window and broke the glass,' Whitfield said. 'And he looked at me and said, "Bill, you're going to need a new phone."' lolty to sky_ablaze for the video linkz source

Multiple sources are telling TMZ the stun gun that Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son purchased was actually used by the children in the house ... and Michael Jackson's son, Blanket was an intended target. As we first reported, Jermaine's 13-year-old son Jaafar ordered the stun gun online. Randy Jackson told TMZ the gun was confiscated by security when it was delivered three weeks ago and locked up by Katherine Jackson. But we've learned and confirmed ... children at the Jackson home were playing with the gun last week. Our sources say the kids were using the gun on the second floor of the house. Security guards on the property were perplexed because they couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from ... nor could they identify the sound. Late last week, we're told one of the security guards went upstairs and "stopped Jermaine's kids from stunning Blanket." The guard confiscated the gun.As we first reported, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services went to the Jackson family home in Encino last night, at around 10:30. The two social workers interviewed Katherine and several of the kids and confiscated Jaafar's stun gun. But our sources say the kids have a second stun gun that DCFS did not recover and it is somewhere on the property.
DCFS is going back to the house today for further investigation. Our sources say DCFS considers this "a very serious situation."SourceThis is legit stupid. How the fuck are his parents so lax that he can purchase a MOTHERFUCKING STUN GUN without their knowledge? That's inexcusable. Each member in the family has to know they have a precarious family name/reputation to think about. Their every action needs to be thought about before committing it. Yea, it's a kind of shitty way to live, but ffs, it's necessary at this point. Jermaine & his wife are the parents of a 13 year old kid. Yes, he is old enough to know better, but I still hold them responsible for at least a portion of the kid's actions, tbh. At the very least they should have instilled certain values...like not using violence in recreation, I mean come on. Then again, these people are strangers after all, so I can't say much. But DAMN, this is disappointing.

Michael Jackson received the fatal dose of Propofol through an IV in his leg, and law enforcement believes Dr. Conrad Murray may have tried covering it up ... this according to law enforcement sources and an anesthesiologist who reviewed the case for the LAPD.Dr. Murray told cops he administered only a very small amount of Propofol -- 2.5ml shortly before Jackson died. But Dr. John Dombrowski, a noted anesthesiologist and member of the board of the American Society of Anesthesiologists who reviewed the LAPD file for detectives, tells TMZ that 2.5ml couldn't put Jackson to sleep, much less kill him. Indeed, the Coroner's report notes the level of Propofol found in Jackson's body was equivalent to that found during "general anesthesia for major surgery."A small, empty, 20ml bottle of Propofol was found in the bedroom, but there was a secret compartment in a nearby closet that could be the key to the prosecution's case. Several days after Jackson's death, law enforcement found numerous bottles of Propofol in that closet, including a large, empty, 100ml bottle with a large tear in the rubber stopper.
The tear could be critical evidence. There are two ways of administering Propofol. The first is sticking a syringe into the rubber stopper, withdrawing a small amount and then injecting it into the tubing. The second way is by using a spike -- which creates a tear in the rubber stop -- and connects the entire bottle of Propofol to the tube.
Dr. Dombrowski says if a spike is used to connect the bottle directly to the IV tube, the doctor must use an infusion pump to regulate the flow of Propofol -- otherwise, the patient could easily OD. There was no infusion pump found in Jackson's home.
Dr. Dombrowski and law enforcement sources believe Dr. Murray may have connected the 100ml bottle of Propofol to the tube, and then either tried regulating the flow by eyeballing it or just letting it flow by itself ... and Dr. Dombrowski calls either scenario "reckless." Remember, Dr. Murray himself told detectives at one point he walked out of Jackson's room to go to the bathroom.
If Dr. Murray did indeed attach the 100ml bottle to the tube and the contents emptied into Jackson's system, that would be 40 times more Propofol than Dr. Murray said he administered.
There is no explanation for the empty bottle of Propofol in the hidden compartment.Source

Source"A controversial re-enactment of Michael Jackson's death has been shown on US television. VH1 show Famous Crime Scene used an uncanny Jacko lookalike for their chilling 30-minute programme, which aired on Friday night. The re-enactment showed the doppelganger being given CPR - first on his bed and then on the floor - by an actor playing the singer's alleged killer Dr Conrad Murray. The most shocking scenes, however, featured the lookalike lying naked on an post mortem table, covered by nothing but a towel, and being pushed slowly into a mortuary drawer.VH1's show used a mixture of actors, journalists and magazine and website editors to put together its version of the events surrounding Jacko's death. But, confusingly, it also featured interviews with actual members of the Los Angeles Fire Department who were involved in the events of June 25 last year and paparazzi footage from outside the hospital and the singer's home. Even Brian Oxman, the Jackson family's lawyer, was interviewed for the programme. As the lookalikes re-enacted the moment Jackson slipped into unconsciousness, the real-life 911 call was played over the top of the images. 'We got a call 12.21pm,' Captain Stephen Ruda, from the Los Angeles Fire Department recalled. 'There was no identification by the caller of who he was or who was having the medical issues. But we knew that someone was in dire, dire straits.
'At 12.25 we were on scene. Firefighters were led in and led to the room where the patient was located. 'Our firefighters found the doctor doing CPR. It turned out to be Michael Jackson.' While the actors played out their version of events in Jackson's bedroom, experts expressed surprise over the CPR Dr. Murray supposedly conducted on Jacko's bed.</strong> CPR should be conducted on hard, firm surfaces, but there was a physician in the room who was doing CPR on the bed,' Captain Ruda said. Dr Marc Eckstein, Medical Director of LAFD, added: 'The vital mechanics of CPR are straightforward. How or why a physician might not know that, I can't comment on.'</strong> Further acted out scenes showed paramedics rushing to Jackson's side and wheeling him out of his home on a stretcher. I got a phone call from Randy Jackson telling me they had taken his brother, Michael to the hospital. He just said 'Brian, it's bad. Meet me there',' Oxman revealed. More chilling scenes showed the lookalike's body being prepared for an autopsy and later, dead in a mortuary drawer. Jackson died, aged 50, on June 25 last after suffering a cardiac arrest. The LA County Coroner has since ruled that his death was a homicide. Dr Murray denies involuntary manslaughter."

A recording purported to be a call from the ambulance rushing Michael Jackson to a hospital the day he died was not "typical" of paramedic procedure, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department official.A British tabloid posted the recording online, suggesting it was evidence that Jackson had no pulse at that time -- contrary to what his personal doctor said. The Sun newspaper did not reveal the source of the recording, but characterized it as a "911 tape." Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said he was skeptical about the authenticity of the audio, adding that it "did not come from our agency."A male -- who says he is a paramedic in an ambulance -- is heard speaking to a female, who supposedly is at the UCLA Medical Center emergency room. "We have a male, 50. Pop star Michael Jackson. Unresponsive, no pulse. Tried to resuscitate him. Unsuccessful. We are en route," the male voice said. "OK. We'll have doctors standing by," the female voice replied. "We've done everything we can here in the ambulance. Hopefully, when we get there -- we should be there in five minutes," the male said. "It doesn't look good." Humphrey said it is routine for paramedics to use a cell phone or a two-way radio to talk to an emergency room as they rush to a hospital, but they "don't normally speak like this in a medical response."
Specifically, the paramedic would not be likely to use a patient's name in the conversation, even if it is a celebrity, Humphrey said.It would be routine for the hospital to record the conversations for legal reasons, he said. UCLA Medical Center spokesman Dale Triber Tate said, "There is no way we could authenticate it even if we had patient/estate authorization, which we do not have." The fire department released an authenticated recording of the 911 call for help from Jackson's Holmby Hills, California, home the day after the pop icon's death. A Jackson bodyguard, who was in the room as Murray tried to revive him, spoke to the 911 operator: "He's not breathing and we're trying to pump him, but he's not breathing," the bodyguard said. "He's not responding to CPR or anything," "We're less than a mile away and we'll be there shortly," the operator said. Hoax recordings have emerged since Jackson's death, including a video produced by a German TV show that purported to show a living Jackson stepping out of a coroner's van. A spokeswoman for RTL, the leading private broadcaster in Germany, later said it was an experiment to show how easy it is to spread rumors online. Source

February 23, 2010 | 8:49 am Fans decked out in futuristic garb formed a line early Tuesday to see the return of the Michael Jackson film "Captain EO" to Disneyland after a 13-year hiatus. At 10 a.m., the 17-minute, science fiction-themed musical returns to the Tomorrowland Theater for limited engagement. It replaces "Honey I Shrunk the Audience," which closed Jan. 3. "Captain EO" debuted at the height of Jackson’s fame in 1986, featuring director Francis Ford Coppola and executive producer George Lucas. It cost a reported $30 million to make and ran as an attraction at the theme park until 1997.Fans began lobbying for the return of the 3-D film soon after Jackson’s death last year, saying it would honor the King of Pop. The Times' Brady McDonald, writing at the Daily Travel & Deal blog, says the return of Captain EO “presents a perplexing challenge to family-centric Disney: How to market a movie relic starring a controversial character without appearing to capitalize on his demise.” The film stars Jackson as a captain leading a crew of aliens, robots and "fuzzball" on a spaceship on a mission to deliver a gift to a wicked alien witch played by Anjelica Huston.A Disney spokeswoman told KTLA that there was no timeline for how long the show would run, but said it would stay for as long as it remained popular.--Tony Barboza Photo: "Captain EO" starring Michael Jackson thrilled Disneyland visitors from 1986 to 1997. The 3-D production reopens Tuesday at the theme park. Credit: Disneyland Resort FROM MTV.COM"Captain EO" made its debut in 1986 and starred Jackson as the titular captain of a spaceship. He and his crew (including "Bad Santa" star Tony Cox as the bumbling elephant-like alien Hooter) are given the task of delivering a package to the evil Witch Queen (played by Oscar winner Anjelica Huston) on her home planet. When they arrive, they are captured and sentence to torture, and only the power of EO's singing and dancing can save them. The film closes with a performance of an early version of "Another Part of Me" (which later appeared on Jackson's 1987 album Bad). It simultaneously opened at Disneyland and at Epcot Center in Walt Disney World, then later had runs at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. When it was first released, "Captain EO" contained some 3-D effects that were absolutely state-of-the-art, though whether or not they hold up in this post-"Avatar" world is anybody's guess. Still, the Francis Ford Coppola-directed, George Lucas-produced film is fun, has great energy and delivers a positive message (and marks Jackson's best film work outside of "Thriller").SOURCE: WE'RE SENDING OUT A MAJOR LOVE AND THIS IS OUR MESSAGE TO YOU
