Jessica Simpson can clearly laugh about her string of failed romances.
The curvy singer told talk show host David Letterman she still enjoys watching ex-boyfriend Tony Romo's 'cute butt' play American football.
"Tony is great, still a friend of mine. I still look at his cute butt in the outfit - uniform. I actually got to live a pretty normal life when I dated Tony - other than the whole jinx situation."
Simpson was blamed by some Cowboys fans for the team's losses when she dated Romo.
Asked by Letterman what went wrong, Simpson replied:
"What went wrong? You'd have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday. We are still good friends."
Simpson also addressed her failed relationship with musician John Mayer - who recently described her as 'sexual napalm'.
"Normally you'd think someone you care about would keep those details to himself."
She added:
"It was definitely a compliment, in a way. I don't really want people to know that about me. I'm like the good girl, then that happened. I think he's a great person, a great musician, but I was very disappointed by the article."
After Tony Romo's girlfriend Candice Crawford was spotted with a diamond-like ring on her ring finger, rumors were swirling that the pair were engaged.
Candice's colleagues denied the rumors, but Tony's friends admit that the couple is serious.
"Tony's ready to make the next step," says an insider. "They'll move in together because he's telling friends that he's most likely going to pop the question…soon."
God only knows why, but apparently Jessica Simpson is still hung up on Tony Romo, and so it was the perfect finale for her terrible year when he got engaged last week to 23-year-old Candice Crawford, just 5 months after he dumped Jessica. The Enquirer says…

Just days before Jessica's split with Tony Romo, she had a sizzling meeting with the fallen golf star at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.
"Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it," a source tells Star.
Since Jess had been fighting with Tony -- who was Tiger's golf partner at the July tournament -- she gave as good as she got.
"Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn't paying attention to her, so she was like, 'What the heck!' " says the source. "She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not."
If by "Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it" Star really meant "he told Jessica Simpson there's an Arby's in his golf pants," I'm on board with this. There's literally no way that wouldn't have worked. None.

The actress admits she and husband Tony Parker can only be intimate on weekends because of her filming schedule in Hollywood and his commitments to his basketball team the San Antonio Spurs, based in Texas. Eva and Tony’s time for lovemaking is further reduced by her responsibilites to her production company and her Hollywood restaurant Beso, which serves Mexican food.
“I work three to four days per week. And then I fly to Texas to spend a long weekend with Tony. So we only have sex during the weekend,” Eva told Joy Magazine.
Eva and Tony are the current stars of London Fog’s Spring/Summer 2010 campaign of ads.
