Nicole Richie is all smiles as she stops by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (March 11)!

The 28-year-old fashionista and mom spoke to Jimmy about what she’d bought her fiance, Joel Madden, for his birthday, learning how to fly a plane and her dad’s most embarrassing habit - critiquing his neighbors’ gardening!

“What [dad Lionel Richie] likes to do is drive ten miles an hour by his neighbors’ houses and he’s like, ’see, those bushes just need to be clipped right around the edges…’” she laughed.

Now that she has returned from debuting her fashion lines in Europe, Nicole Richie has some work to do on the home front - like plan her wedding to Joel Madden!

And she'll definitely be walking down the aisle soon!

"It's a big deal," said Nicole of the wedding prep. "I've been on the road. I just got home, so it's really going to be like now that's the time for me to sit down and think about what I want."

But neither of them have any clue what they want on their big day nor have they set a date.

"The same thing as our engagement, we're kind of doing it at our own pace. We have no idea right now," said Joel.

Nicole Richie was the belle of the ball lastnight at the Oscars. She radiated Hollywood glamour, in a flowing gown and sleek hair with killer makeup. Whilst Nicole's beau Joel was the DJ for the night at the Oscars, Nicole mingled with celebrities and friends at Elton John's annual Oscars party.

We agree with the majority on this one!!

5,000 moms were polled at BabyCenter.com on their most and least favorite celebrity baby names, and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr.'s 5-month old, Charlotte Grace, won most favorite with 49% of the vote!!

A far second place favorite was Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's Seraphina Rose Elizabeth at 12%, and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's Sparrow James Midnight was christened the least popular.

We don't think Sparrow is as bad as some other celebrity baby names, but Charlotte Grace really is a beautiful. And NORMAL!!

We had such a magical evening at Sir Elton John's Oscar party on Sunday night!

It dizzies us to even attempt to describe the evening!

But, what is most important to share with you Perezcious little gangsters is that all moneys raised from Elton and his husband David Furnish's party go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has done SO MUCH good for over 15 years now!

Poppa Elton is always so kind and amazing and the ultimate host! We had the bestest bestest time at his party!

Seated at our table was Anthony Keidis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Joaquin Phoenix, who looked great clean-shaven, as well as the gorgeous and generous and truly special Diana Jenkins, plus several power gays we had the pleasure of meeting. We had a great time chatting with Anthony about music, our mutual love of French singer Soko, and the state of the record business.

Nicole Richie came by and joined us for a brief debate on Uffie vs Ke$ha, and we got to chat with her for a while about her life and our life and how we've both changed and grown since we first met close to six years ago.

Hayden Panettiere kept circling our table like a hawk and giving us the evil eye, but we thankfully managed to avoid her.

None other than Miley Cyrus came over to say hello and she excitedly told us about her new album - which is going to be more pop and less rock than her first few Disney albums (yay)! The Hannah Montana star was with her hot Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, though she had previously said she would be leaving him at home and doing the Oscar rounds with her mom!

Posh herself, Victoria Beckham, said hello (we're still pinching ourselves that so many celebrities came to say hello to us and not the other way around) and it was great to catch up with her.

Vicky B. was seated with Heidi Klum, whom we got to chat with and - prior to last night - had never met before!

We also met for the first time Glee's Lea Michele, who was with one of our imaginary boyfriends, Jonathan Groff.

Johnny Weir was one of the celebs most in demand at the party, and he spent a lot of time chatting up Miz Kelly Osbourne.

Kelly's mom, Sharon, was a delight - as always - as was X Factor judge Louis Walsh. And you bet he and Perezzers chatted about Cheryl Cole and… Jedward!

In addition to all the above, we got to share some giggles and shoot the shit with Josh Groban, Katie Price, Kimora Lee Simmons, Kathy Griffin, Andre Leon Talley, Lance Bass, Brian Atwood, Stphen Cojocaru, RuPaul, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Niecy Nash, Nancy O'Dell, Maria Menounos, Stacey Dash, Phllip Treacy, Lydia & Patty Hearst and more.

It truly was one of the best nights of our whole life!
