Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman are set to play lovers in The Danish Girl, but it seems there is not much love lost between them.
The pair have been living within miles of each other in Nashville for weeks, but Nicole, 42, declined an invitation to meet Gwyneth, who is filming Love Don't Let Me Down there, reported Daily Mail online.
"Nicole lives in Nashville not far from where Gwyneth, has been working on her latest movie for five weeks. Gwyneth made the effort to get in touch with Nicole but Nicole declined," said a source. The 37-year-old actress who has left behind her family in the UK to shoot the film, has been suffering from loneliness, but Kidman refused to offer her company. "Gwyneth is on her own and lonely, it would have been nice for Nicole to make the effort," added the source. The actress is currently filming in Nashville, while her husband, Coldplay' frontman Chris Martin is in London looking after their children, Apple and Moses. I think she looks lovely and so happy! This is possibly the most bizarre re-casting we've EVER heard of.
Selena Gomez has reportedly replaced none other than Nicole Kidman in the film Monte Carlo after producers decided they wanted the story to be more youthful.
OUCH! Bwah ha ha.

The movie is based on the book Headhunters by Jules Bass, and chronicles four New Jersey women posing as heiresses in Monaco.
Gomez will now star with Blair Waldorf in the revamped version, which will instead revolve around a group of high school and college girls in Paris, France.
Frankly, we don't know which is harder to believe - school girls or ANYONE from Jersey being able to pass as heiresses!
We think they should have just taken the best aspects of both scenarios - youth and Jersey - and picked up Snooki Snickers, Jwoww, Sammi Sweetheart as the film's leads.
Maybe then it will be watchable!!

 There can be no doubt in anybody's mind that Nicole Kidman's career is in deep, deep trouble. That's because, even though she's talented and used to make $16M-$17M for a lead role in a major studio movie, she's become poison at the box office -- the female equivalent of Sean Penn (but with botox...). So it's very understandable that she now feels the need for more career guidance. I've learned that Nicole has made a major change in her representation: she's become a client of Angeline Jolie's manager Guyer Kosinski of Media Talent Group. Kidman, who just in July shook up her PR representation by firing her publicist of 15 years PMK/HBH's Catherine Olim, hasn't had a manager since her early days as an actress. She was with Mark Epstein (quite the character) until her career really took off and she went solely with CAA. Kidman is a longtime CAA client, first with Rick Nicita, then with Kevin Huvane. But is history about to repeat itself? Because what's interesting here is that Kosinski took Angelina away from CAA. Before Jolie went to CAA in March 2005, she was represented by just the manager. When the pair decided she needed an agent, she met with every major tenpercentery in town, then chose CAA. But then Kosinski yanked her from the agency in April 2006 after she'd spent only 13 months there. Kosinski is known to be very controlling, very secretive, very involved with his clients' lives (and hates talking to the media). I'm really interested to see what happens next... SOURCE

“The more extreme the character, the better,” she explains. “I’m most attracted to the characters that least resemble me. I love playing characters who find themselves on the margins of society, who don’t conform.”
Her upcoming role in The Danish Girl seems to fit that requirement. The Moulin Rouge star plays Einar Wegener, aka Lili Elbe, a male-to-female transgender , who died in 1931 after receiving one of the world’s first sex change operations.

Sports Illustrated covergirl Brooklyn Decker is set to star alongside America’s Sweetheart Jennifer Aniston, funny guy Adam Sandler, and Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman in the upcoming rom-com Just Go with It.
 
The feature is about a man (Sandler) who convinces a single mom (Aniston) to pretend to be his soon-to-be-divorced wife so that he can win over the woman he loves (Decker). Filming begins in March, and the film is scheduled to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day 2011.
Decker — the wife of tennis ace Andy Roddick — covered the 2010 edition of Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue, released this month.

 She is better known for her dramatic roles, but Nicole Kidman is planning to show her funny side in her latest film. Kidman has joined the cast of the romantic comedy Just Go with It.
The film stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, with Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker also on board.
The film was originally titled Pretend Wife, and sees Sandler recruiting Aniston to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife in order to land the girl of his dreams.Kidman's role is expected to be small. The movie is due to start filming in Los Angeles this month. heraldsun.com.au
