Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson are set to star in The Ledge, a suspense film that began shooting Monday (March 8) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The film, also starring Terrence Howard and Charlie Hunnam, is about a man (Hunnam) standing on a high-rise ledge who says he’ll jump while a police officer on the ground (Howard) tries his best to keep the situation under control.

“The Ledge examines the different and sometimes dangerous beliefs people adopt as a means of surviving emotional trauma,” first time writer-director Matthew Chapman said (via THR).

We usually love the way Liv Tyler rocks her casual looks.  But, last night the newly minted ambassador for Dutch fashion house, G-Star showed up on the red carpet in a Papa Smurf inspired frock.  

We can get on board with the blue sweater and black mini-dress but the blue tights cut her off and make her tall frame look stocky.

Liv Tyler is the new brand ambassador of the Dutch denim label G-Star.

The 32-year-old Stealing Beauty actress will appear in print advertisements for G-Star until the Fall of this year. The label plans to expand to 50 free-standing stores in the U.S.

“Liv is a great fit for the brand because she exudes the perfect level of sensuality, a characteristic very important to G-Star,” a label rep said according to People. “She’s a strong, beautiful and independent woman with an impeccable feeling for style.”

Liv Tyler and Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam leave a movie theater in Hollywood together on Tuesday (January 5).

The 32-year-old actress signed autographs on the way out and parted ways with Charlie, 29, quickly after leaving the theater.

Liv’s dad, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, announced late last month that he planned to enter rehab to treat a painkiller addiction.

“My family and I are in complete support of my dad’s decision to seek treatment. He is a courageous man,” Liv said. “We love him and are so proud that he is getting help to balance his pain management, not just for himself but for his family, friends and fans.”
