Kendra Wilkinson is opening up about her crippling battle with postpartum depression, which the former Playboy Playmate claims left her feeling she had “nothing to live for” after becoming a new mom last December.
Wilkinson welcomed son Hank Baskett IV with her NFL star hubby, but the 24 year old struggled to adjust to motherhood and was pulled into a downward spiral of the post-baby blues, she told OK! Magazine this week.
“After giving birth, I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed. I thought, ‘Look at me.’ I had this glamorous life in L.A., and now (in Indianapolis) I didn’t. A couple of times, I even said, ‘I just have nothing to live for.’”
The ex-Girl Next Door did manage to find one way to fight her way out of the funk — sex.
“[At] the doctor’s appointment following up on everything, he goes, ‘Have you guys had sex?’” Kendra explains. “This was, like, five weeks after. We were like, ‘I guess we have to be honest. Yes, we did.’ And he’s like, ‘Ugh! You can’t do that!’”

Kendra Wilkinson is opening up about being a mom and the major challenge that came with it - depression. The Girls Next Door star admitted that shortly after giving birth to her first son with husband Hank Baskett, she became completely depressed. She confessed:
“I never brushed my hair, my teeth or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was totally depressed … A couple of times, I even said, ‘I just have nothing to live for.’”
So sad, considering you have everything to live for, bb!
Part of the depression came from being a first time mother and not knowing what to expect, but Kendra admits that the hardest part of those first few months was moving from California to Indianapolis so hubby Hank could be closer to his team.
She explains:
“It was new to me — the snow and the cold. I love running and hiking. I had a hard time being trapped inside. I’d look outside and think how much I wished I could go to the beach again."
But Kendra confesses that the time is behind her now and with both her boys by her side, along with the rest of her family, she was able to make it through the bad times.
We're proud of you, bb! Everyone gets down, but when you get back up again, it shows the true person you are!

Is Washington ready for a former Playboy Bunny? Rocker John Mellencamp isn’t just one celeb possibly his hat into the ring for Evan Bayh’s Indiana Senate seat.
There’s a grassroots movement building that’s urging former “Girls Next Door” Kendra Wilkinson to run to replace Bayh, who announced this week that he will not seek reelection in the 2010 midterm elections, The Examiner said on Friday.
Kendra resides in Indiana with her husband, Indianapolis Colts star Hank Baskett. Various Indianapolis radio stations are polling locals about who they’d like to see replace Bayh. Surprisingly, dozens of listeners have called in to nominate the reality star.
While she’s got the residency part down, Kendra’s not eligible to run for public office just yet. At 24, the new mom still has six years to go before she meets the age requirement to serve as a US Senator.

The Situation fist pumped his way to Las Vegas to whore himself out for publicity hang out with former Girls Next Door Kendra and Holly, as well as Kendra's husband, Hank Baskett at the Valentine's Day opening of the Sugar Factory!
Guess Kendra finally forgave him for blowing the Super Bowl!!!!
And we can just imaging the Situation is moving in on Holly!! He recently said:
"The perfect woman could be anybody out there. You just gotta keep an open mind, be yourself and you’ll eventually find her. I haven’t found her yet.”
Don't do it, girlfriend!! Even abs like that don't save his face!!

It'll be another Super Bowl showdown as Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson are both hosting pre-Valentine's Day bashes with thier football lovers! Kendra and hubby Hank Baskett will be at the Eve nightclub in City Center while Kim will be at Lavo, continuing to celebrate the Super Bowl victory of her BF Reggie Bush.
But whose party will be the best of the night?!
If you don't care either way, that's cool. The Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" will be at the Sugar Factory. Go hang out with him instead!

Reality star Kendra Wilkinson has revealed her Valentine's Day plans with husband Hank Baskett.
The 24-year-old married Baskett in a ceremony in LA last year, and they have a baby son, Hank Jr. She took to her Twitter page to reveal that he Henry took her whale watching last year, but this weekend they are going to spend a little time in Las Vegas.

Kendra Wilkinson and her hubby are going to spend the Valentine's Day weekend together in Sin City.
"I love valentines day," she Tweeted on Wednesday. "Hank took me whale watching," she says. "it was fun!"
And they're ditching the kid!
"grandma is coming to watch him for the wkend while mom n dad get some time together," she continued.
