The 30-year-old singer rocked the house with her new single, “Acapella” and filled the room with bubbles!

Kelis recently shared how hard it is to choose songs to go on her album! “I find myself fighting relentlessly every album,” she wrote on her Twitter. “But at the end of the day why? There are wonderful sonicly [sic] perfect songs that never see the light of day.”

Uh, oh! This shiz could get ugly!

Nas has pleaded not guilty to contempt of court in the divorce battle between him and Kelis.

Kelis and her lawyers have claimed that Nas owes over $200,000 in child and spousal support including attorney's fees. The lawyers filed a contempt motion after Nas didn't pay up and he pleaded not guilty!

Now if he's convicted he could go to jail. The contempt hearing will be next month.

He must be pretty confident in his plea if he's risking jail time!

Kelis makes quite an impression as she walks the red carpet at the Data Awards at Los Angeles’ Palladium on Thursday (January 29) in 12-inch heels!

The 30-year-old singer sported Alexander McQueen ‘Armadillo” shoes - the same shoes that Lady Gaga wore in the “Bad Romance” video!

Kelis paired her killer heels with a long braided hair extension, facial jewelry and a pink bodysuit.

Jon Gosselin is being a diva with his girlfriend Morgan Christie over in Park City, Utah at the Sundance Film Festival. They've been spotted all over at different events, even making out in public.

BARF!

An insider describes:

"Jon and Morgan are really making a spectacle of themselves and Jon expects star treatment everywhere he goes. He has turned into a total diva. He and Morgan have been setting themselves up at free events each day, they request security teams to help them and make sure the paparazzi are around to catch them."

The Father of the Year also demanded special seating at Kelis' performance at the Film Lounge/House of Hype on Friday night! The insider continues:

"Jon made sure he was escorted into the venue with full security and he insisted on watching the performance with Morgan on the side of the stage, all alone, while real celebrities were in the audience with everyone else!

"Morgan was ALL over Jon during the performance. then, when Jon was ready to leave, which was before the concert was over, he made security escort him and Morgan to his car. It was lame!"

Totally lame!

Bob Saget and Ryan Reynolds were among the celebs mingling with the rest of the crowd.

Apparently everyone was scratching their heads as to why Jon was getting the superstar treatment and we don't have an answer for you!

Kelis rocked the house at Film Lounge at House of Hype after John Legend performed at the Bing Supper Club, but she held off on performing until her ex-husband, Nas, finished performing across the street! She performed Madonna’s remixed version of “Milkshake” and Bill Gates was jamming - ha ha! Kelis also visited the T-Mobile myTouch Diner for lunch on Saturday.

On Friday at the Bing Supper Club, Malin Akerman and her happythankyoumoreplease co-star Kate Mara chatted about the film with writer/director Josh Radnor, who toasted to having a great team!

Saturday night, Ryan Reynolds and the crew of Buried ate at the T-Mobile myTouch Diner for their pre-premiere dinner. Ryan celebrated with friends and called it an early night - he had to catch an early flight to NYC to see wife Scarlett Johansson in A View From The Bridge!

PETA is calling bullshiz on Kelis!

The singer posted a lengthy entry on her MySpace blog the other day, claiming the organization sent her a nasty-gram for wearing fur, but PETA says it isn't true!

We've gotten a hold of the letter PETA sent to Kelis, and, well… just see for yourself!

Dear Kelis,

I hope that this finds you well. I'm writing today because we've been inundated with phone calls and e-mails from folks alerting us to photos of you wearing a fur hat and coat while out in London over the weekend.

Please know that animals killed for their fur endure immense suffering. Foxes, minks, coyotes, and rabbits—and even dogs and cats—are bludgeoned, strangled, genitally electrocuted, and even skinned alive for their pelts. We hope that you'll take a moment to watch an undercover exposé of fur farms, hosted by Eva Mendes, at http://www.peta.org/FeatureEvaMendes.asp.

Kelis was recently verbally attacked by PETA having received a personalized letter about the singer wearing fur.

Well she wasn't having any of that and she wrote a letter back to PETA via her MySpace blog.

Here are some HIGHlights:

On wearing fur:

"Btw it’s not just the look of fur. It’s warm as hell and feels glorious, ever rubbed faux fur on your body? Nothing luxurious about that. Then the letter proceeded to name artist and designers who don't wear real fur. Great! More for me! I don't judge them, don't judge me.

"If I started wearing endangered animals like polar bear or orangutan then talk to me. (Which btw for the record I would not - I do believe in the preservation of endangered species) But the minks and chinchilla that quite honestly are rodents and if weren't in the form of a coat I would demand they be put to death anyway are not an issue to me."

On eating meat:

"There is no humane way to kill anything, let me start there. It’s unfortunate but it’s part of life. With that being said, I would eat pterodactyl if you found some and you told me it was meaty and delicious…I eat meat, and in fact my mouth salivates as I type the word meat!"

On how PETA should find a more "worthwhile cause":

"If u want to preach do it about something worthwhile don't waste my time trying to save the dang chipmunk. Find a worthwhile cause like the women being maimed in these Middle Eastern countries. Or female circumcision. Or women's rights here in America, we still get paid less for doing the same jobs as men.

"Quite honestly if you hate the world so much go live in the forest where no one else has to hear you complain about the perfectly good food chain the good Lord created. Everyone has the right to an opinion, and that's mine on that! xoxo"

Is Nas a deadbeat dad? It sure sounds like it!

Kelis is asking the judge to take Nas into court and ask why he shouldn't be held in contempt of court because he is majorly behind on his child support payments!

Nas is in the hole $56,911.50 in child and spousal support and he has been refusing to pay any since December 1.

Not cool, Nas! Take care of your kiddies!

There’s more to Kelis than “Milkshake,” and she’s sitting down with HoneyMag.com to talk about her music, motherhood (her son Knight was born in July) and the end of her marriage to Nas.

Here’s what the 30-year-old singer had to share:

On motherhood: “Waking up at five in the morning and seeing that Knight’s awake and he’s got this bright, sunny, delicious face looking at me like, ‘Good morning mom.’ It’s literally the greatest thing to wake up to and it tickles me every time. I adore him.”

On her fifth album: “As far as music goes, if I’m not a little bit nervous, then I’m not doing what I should be doing. You gotta be nervous because it means your actually taking a chance and going towards something better. Nerves are important. Secondly, I feel fantastic. I just turned 30 and it’s been amazing. Being a woman in your 30s, things just start to make sense. You’re as sexy as you’ll ever be and you just feel really good. I love where I’m at in my life right now.”

On the half-shaved head look: “Well I was definitely the first to do it. The only other person I would give credit before me is Pepa. Other than that, I expect them to copy me. What else are they supposed to do? They’re young. God bless them.”
