Selena Gomez has reportedly replaced none other than Nicole Kidman in the film Monte Carlo after producers decided they wanted the story to be more youthful. OUCH! Bwah ha ha. You KNOW Nicole probably got the news and then proceeded to rip her hair out, shatter every mirror in her house, and break out her emergency case of botox hidden in Keith Urban's guitar!! Gomez will now star with Blair Waldorf in the revamped version, which will instead revolve around a group of high school and college girls in Paris, France. Frankly, we don't know which is harder to believe - school girls or ANYONE from Jersey being able to pass as heiresses! We think they should have just taken the best aspects of both scenarios - youth and Jersey - and picked up Snooki Snickers, Jwoww, Sammi Sweetheart as the film's leads. The new comedy The Bachelorette Party was originally picked up by Nicole’s production company but is now in the hands of Peter Segal’s Callahan Filmworks. Hollywood power couple (I’m being generous…) Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are teaming up with Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis and the Artists for Peace and Justice organization to provide financial backing for a school opening in the earthquake-ravaged nation of Haiti.
In addition to education, the school will also reportedly provide basic health needs to the children, country-interest websiteTheBoot.com dished this week. “We’re actually going to be funding a school down there for the next five years,” Keith told radio station CatCountry 96 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania this week. “It’s in Port-Au-Prince. The kids will also have one hot meal a day. They’ll have all of their medical taken care of by the school, and clothing, as well.” Keith and Nicole were among the celebs who participated in the multi-network “Hope For Haiti Now” telethon last month. No word on when the new school will open its doors.
