Oprah’s know for making wishes come true, so the helping bulked-up bud Kirstie Alley get one of her Favorite Things: singer/actor Jamie Foxx.
The former Cheers actress has spent months gushing and crushing on the “Blame It” crooner on Twitter. It’s beginning to get kind of disturbing. Anywho, to Alley’s surprise, The Oprah Show arranged for Jamie to appear via Skype with Kirstie on today’s program. Kirstie was so excited to see her love she started to kiss the television that Foxx was appearing on! “I don’t envision marrying Jamie Foxx, but I could envision being in Italy with him for three weeks,” joked the actress, who is trying to lose 90 pounds. “You’re absolutely beautiful,” Jamie said encouragingly. “Just be you, fantastically you.” The two continued to flirt, with Jamie telling Kirstie: “Even if you don’t lose any weight, you’re still beautiful….With Oprah’s permission, I’ll be your booty call,” he laughed. Kirstie’s new reality series, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, premieres March 21 on A&E.
Jamie Foxx is sounding off on rumors that he is in the running to take over Simon Cowell’s place on the judging panel of American Idol. The 42-year-old Oscar winner — who appears in Garry Marshall’s new romantic comedy Valentine’s Day — says he’d be delighted to join the team of television’s most watched program, but notes that he hasn’t been approached by Idol producers.
Jamie tells Parade.com: “Everybody keeps asking me. Of course I would take over for Mr. Cowell. If they officially ask, I’m there. I’m just waiting. I just think it’s amazing that on American Idol those guys like Simon and my man, Randy, make so much dough from watching people that are talented. That’s amazing to me and I could sit there and listen just like they do.” Jamie is just one of a series of stars reportedly in the running to step into Simon’s shoes when the acid-tongued Brit leaves Idol this May to develop an American adaptation of his UK talent show, The X Factor. Other celebs linked to the show include Madonna, Tommy Mottola, and Conan O’Brien.

American Idol creator Simon Fuller is on the hunt for a big name to replace Simon Cowell when the music mogul exits the nation’s most-watched show at the end of the current season. In fact, Oscar-winning singer/actor Jamie Foxx and The Queen of Pop herself, Madonna, are being courted to replace Cowell, who’ll leave the show in May, Idol snitches blab in the Feb. 1 issue of Life & Style Weekly.
Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine is also rumored to be a strong contender for the judging job. Cowell is leaving show to bring his British smash hit show The X Factor stateside.
Twi-Hards come from all walks of life. Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner has revealed that Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is a huge fan of the vampire series! Lautner claims Foxx, 41, hunted the 17-year-old down for an autograph and photo at the Twilight workd premiere in 2008. “There’s tons of fans and we hear all of these high pitch voices and we hear ‘Rah, rah, Taylor, Taylor!’” Lautner told comedian George Lopez during an appearance on TBS’ Lopez Tonight last Thursday night. Taylor is used to the attention he receives from crazed tweens who swear by The Twilight Saga, but the starstruck was Lautner taken aback to discover that the Ray star was a fan. “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Can I get a picture with you?’”

 Jamie Foxx is truly the Soloist. No really, the 41-year-old recently said that his age become an issue when he meets girls in bars. When a woman hears how old he is, Foxx says its like he just told them he has cancer. So fella's, being a multi-millionaire Oscar winner can't find a woman. There's no hope for us.
