James Franco works it out in this new ad for Gucci by Gucci Sport Pour Homme, the latest fragrance from Gucci.
The 31-year-old actor, who is also the face of the first male Gucci fragrance, is “perfect for this fragrance,” creative director Frida Giannini told WWD, adding “[James] personifies the sort of nonchalance and unforced appeal that is most attractive in a man. While in the advertising campaign, he captures the fragrance’s casual, modern and masculine air.”
Gucci by Gucci Sport Pour Homme products start at $27 and will be launched globally in April.
James Franco's short film, The Feast of Steven screened at this year's Teddy Award (the first queer award at the Berlin International Film Festival) showing in Berlin, and a portion of the film has hit the internet!
And the film features a LOT of male frontal nudity!!
Franco's The Feast of Steven is described as follows:
Stephen watches a group of boys playing basketball. The look in his eyes betrays his sexual interests. When the boys realize, he becomes a victim of their homophobia. Or does it only seem so? THE FEAST OF STEPHEN is based on a poem by the same title, written by american poet Anthony Hecht. The peom stayed with James Franco since he read it for the first time. In order to visualize the feelings that had been triggered in him, Franco was geared to Kenneth Anger´s rebellious shortfilm SCORPIO RISING, which in 1964 stilistically, aesthetically and thematically made cinematic history.
James Franco's 24-year-old brother Dave is quite the hottie and one of Detail's Next Generation of Hollywood's Leading Men.
He tells the mag, "I got mistaken for myself at a Starbucks once. This guy came up to me and said, 'Hey, man, you look a lot like that guy, James Franco's little brother, Dave.' And I was like, 'Pssshhh. Man, that fool? That guy sucks.'
Don't lie! No one knows who you are, but we'd love get acquainted!
A moustached James Franco hits the red carpet at the premiere of his new film, Howl, at the Berlin International Film Festival on Thursday (February 12).
The 31-year-old actor headed to Berlin a little late - his flight from NYC was delayed because of the massive snowstorm earlier this week!
Howl tells the story of groundbreaking Beat poet Allen Ginsberg (played by James) and his impact on the beatnik movement.

Harvard University has named Hathaway their Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year with an event taking place next month in which Anne will parade through the streets around Harvard.
The award last year was given to Renee Zellweger who had to attend the parade in a fat suit from her Bridget Jones' Diary days in order to receive her trophy.
Even James Franco had to milk a "gay cow" last year in reference to his movie Harvey Milk to receive his Man of the Year award.
Not sure what embarrassing thing they'll make Anne do or dress up as, but let's hope it's good.
Like us, many were confused about why the hell James Francojoined the cast of the daytime soap General Hospital.
But now it's beginning to look like his role is part of a bigger picture.
In the spring, James will merge his on-screen character "bad boy" artist Franco with an off-screen project when his stint on the show ends later this month. Apparently Franco will be participating in a gallery show at New York's Deitch Projects and will be shot for a "special episode" for the soap.
What is this guy smoking!?
Franco mentioned the plan in the Wall Street Journal in December saying:
"After all of the Franco episodes are aired, my character's storyline will be advanced in a special episode filmed in a 'legitimate' New York gallery. One more layer will be added to this already layer-heavy experiment. If all goes according to plan, it will definitely be weird. But is it art?"
This just keeps on getting weirder and weirder.
But we will admit, we're a little intrigued to see what James Franco "the artist" has created.
James Franco is taking his General Hospital character, Franco, to a whole new level by bringing him into the NYC art world!
NYMag reports that the 31-year-old actor will participate in a gallery show at NYC’s Deitch Projects for an upcoming “special episode” of the soap he’ll be co-directing.
James wrote an editorial for the Wall Street Journal last month explaining why he wanted to guest star on GH, explaining that he considers it experimental performance art.
“No matter how far I got into the character, I was going to be perceived as something that doesn’t belong to the incredibly stylized world of soap operas,” he wrote.
