We're calling bull shiz on this!! There's been numerous reports - even from the Olympic skater himself - that Johnny Weir was not invited to be part of Stars On Ice because they deemed him 'not family friendly.' Of course, in an attempt to cover their asses, reps from the tour have released this statement:

STOOPID!! We reported a few days ago that Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir was not invited to be a part of the Stars On Ice Tour, and he confirmed the news to be TRUE this morning! Weir says:
Soo ridiculous!! It's FIGURE SKATING!! It goes hand in hand with gay men!! It would be like denying RuPaul the hosting position on Drag Race!! They BELONG together!! CRAZY! After we reported on speculation that Hurt Locker actor Jeremy Renner was gay this morning, a source came forward and reminded us of a very CURIOUS article in the real estate section of the El Lay Times way back in January about the Oscar nominee's house being sold! The story says:
CO-INVESTOR?? REALLY?? Two working Hollywood actors in their 30s buy a house together as 'co-investors'?? YEAH. That's what we thought, too. The National Enquirer is reporting that Jeremy Renner, the Oscar-nominated star of The Hurt Locker is HOMOLICIOUS, and although not closeted, he prefers to keep the subject of his sexual preference out of the press. Oopsie!! Melanee Wyatt, who claims to have worked as Renner's acting coach way back when, says:

Good!! People NEED to know that this is NOT OKAY. After the Itawamba school district in Mississippi decided to cancel their high school's prom rather than let a lesbian student attend the dance with her girlfriend, they were slapped with a lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union!! The ACLU claims that the student, Constance McMillen, has had her First Amendment right to freely express herself taken away, and is asking that the U.S. District Court have the school's prom reinstated. McMillen says:

This is pretty unfortunate. ABC has announced that the groundbreaking gay romance between Kyle and Oliver - portrayed by actors Brett Claywell and Scott Evans - on the daytime soap One Life To Live is being written out of the show! Frank Valentini, one of the soap's producers, said in a statement:
Although the romance between the former frat brothers pulled in serious viewership and received major press from gay and lesbian publications, the network officials reportedly worried that they weren't working with the mainstream audience. Of course. So effing typical. Kyle and Oliver will apparently get custody of the infant Sierra Rose and start their family together off-screen. Their last episode is in April. Good! The LEAST they should get is a happy ending!! What do U think?? Are U upset to see Kyle and Oliver written off One Life To Live??
Yeah! We're sure Jesus would have stood by THIS 100%!! Pssh. This effing sucks so hard. The archdiocese in Denver, Colorado, has denied two CHILDREN re-enrollment in a Catholic school next year because their parents are lesbians! So UNBELIEVABLY effed up!! They're KIDS - only in kindergarten and preschool!! They've already started at a school, and now they won't be allowed back because the church suddenly decides it's not cool? Archbishop Charles J. Chaput says:
BULLSHIT. We're SURE every student in that school has married parents completely committed to one another and conform COMPLETELY to every single obscure Catholic teaching!! Luckily, there has been a MASSIVE public outcry in the community to this blatant and hateful discrimination. Marianne Duddy-Burke, Executive Director of DignityUSA, says:
SPOT ON. So unbelievably cruel. How are young children supposed to feel when the school they are a part of suddenly decides they're not welcome anymore?! Jarret Barrios, the president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, agreed:
If there's any light in this shitstorm of a story, Boulder Pride - which is a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center - organized a protest outside of the church Sunday, supported by 30 opponents, most of whom were reportedly heterosexual allies of the gay community!! We're sure the support was very much appreciated!! We still can't even process this. Those poor children are way too young to have to endure that kind of discrimination. So sad.
This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!! The Itawamba County school district in northern Mississippi has CANCELLED their high school's prom because a lesbian student wanted to bring her girlfriend to the dance!! SERIOUSLY?? WTF?? The Itawamba County Agricultural High School in Fulton, Mississippi, sent out a criteria for students in February regarding the dance, and one of the requirements was that each student MUST bring a date of the opposite sex. Obviously, that didn't fly for student Constance McMillen, who's girlfriend also attends the school, and when the American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi got wind of the fuckery and told the district they had to change the policy, the school board issued a statement cancelling the prom for EVERYONE, "due to the distractions to the educational process caused by recent events." Absolutely disgusting!! That poor girl!! Kristy Bennett, the legal director for the ACLU, says:
EXACTLY. It's a violation of her RIGHTS. So, so sad. And IF Constance is reading, we know this doesn't make it any better, but prom is overrated!! ESPECIALLY if it were going to be in a place that would try and impede on your happiness!! Hang in there, and keep your chin up girl!! There are a lot of people out there fighting on your side!!
It's very sad it had to end this way, when it really didn't have to. A gay porn actor, Dustin Michaels, was pronounced dead this morning at a Florida hospital. The 23-year-old was in the middle of filming a new reality show with Zoo Productions last night, when the cops arrived, responding to a disturbance call. When one of the police officers tried to arrest Dustin, he resisted and quickly shoved something in his mouth. That's when things turned deadly for Dustin. Because he was fighting with the police, one of the officers tasered him to restrain him, but the jolt forced the contents in his mouth, which later proved to be a large baggie of weed, to lodge in his throat and he began to choke. Despite the best efforts of the officers, who desperately tried to save him by using the Hiemlich maneuver, the bag was just too big and by the time the EMTs arrive, he had already passed out. He was dead by the time they reached the hospital. Because he was in the middle of reality show, there is footage of the entire ordeal, which you can watch above. We warn you, it's pretty disturbing and not very easy to watch. So sad. |
