Conan’s going on tour! Former Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien has announced that he’s embarking on a 30-city theater tour sponsored by American Express.
“It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house,” Conan joked in a statement announcing the move on Thursday.
Sidekick Andy Richter and the former Tonight Show band will join the funny guy for the “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour” — which Conan promises will be “a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”
The tour will kick off in Eugene, Oregon on April 12. Ticket prices start at $39.50.
O’Brien left NBC’s The Tonight Show in January instead of accepting the network’s offer to move his start time back by a half-hour.

And she won’t be coming to 30 Rockefeller Center alone: The May 8 episode will also feature a reunion of six former female cast members, many of them now moms themselves, including: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, and Rachel Dratch.
