Christina Applegate rocks the red carpet in a Roberto Cavalli gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 23).
The 38-year-old actress, who’s up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Samantha Who?, chose a custom v-neck sky blue silk chiffon gown with Swarovski crystal and beaded detail.
Christina finished her look with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz and a Stuart Weitzman Diplomat clutch.
“On my way to get ready for SAG awards,” Christina tweeted earlier. “Always a little anxious until I’m dressed and ready. Breathe.”

Christina Applegate and her boyfriend, Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble, go shopping together at American Girl Place boutique and the GAP in Hollywood on Sunday (December 20).
The 38-year-old actress stars in the upcoming animated film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. The film also stars the voices of Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, and Amy Poehler. Christina plays Brittany, one of the Chippettes. The movie is set to be released on December 23.
Christina will be appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien tonight (December 21).

Christina Applegate is said to be “baffled” by ABC’s decision to pull the plug on her quirky half-hour comedy Samantha Who?
In May, The Alphabet Network announced that the series was among the casualities being dumped from the network schedule — axed after two seasons due to budget cuts.
In an interview Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Donald Todd said that the cast and crew cannot understand the reasons behind ABC’s move.
“Sadly, ABC’s strategy to get new viewers - by taking the show off the air for months at a time - did not pan out, and they have no further plans for us,” he explained.
“The producers, and Christina, remain baffled by the whole thing. As viewers can see in the final episodes airing now, we were heading in a great direction; the calls and e-mails about those episodes are both gratifying and painful.”

Christina Applegate claims she was once told she's too old to appear on the cover of a magazine. The petite blonde says the editors of the unnamed magazine rejected her saying they only feature people under the age of 35. Applegate, a recent breast cancer survivor, said: "They didn't want anyone over 35. Now I guess I'll never be on it. I just don't think of any of that because I feel 20 years old."
