Yes, it's true! Hilary Duff will join the cast of "Gossip Girl" in its third season for a multi-episode arc to debut this fall! On October 5th (episode 4) we'll meet Hilary's character Olivia Burke, a movie star who attends New York University in the hopes to experience a true college experience along with other NYU newbies Blair (Leighton Meester), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).
